The purpose of the Regulation on Environmental Management of Dredging Material is to determine the procedures and principles regarding the environmental management of dredging activities carried out in sea and coastal areas and estuaries, the beneficial use of dredging materials resulting from these activities, and their discharge or disposal into the marine environment in a way that does not harm the environment and human health.
As ÇİGEM ÇEVRE, we prepare and approve the dredging environmental management plan with our expert staff who have successfully completed the Environmental Officer Training in the Environmental Management Regulation of Dredging Material organized by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change within the scope of the Regulation on the Environmental Management of Dredging Material No. 31008 dated 14.01.2020. We are active in procurement.
Following the approval of the environmental management plan, monitoring reports are prepared within our company in order to detect any changes that may occur in the sea area where the material resulting from the dredging activity is discharged.
